Active Storage is designed for long terms usually in excess of 6 months but obviously can be applied to any term.
Essentially we offer 2 types of Active Storage, by far the best type we call Active Driven, as the name suggests this entails driving the car once every month, this is done only on our private driveway and only in dry conditions, the car is driven until thoroughly warmed through. All the systems are operated, A/C is run, windows, sliding roof, heater / climate control mirrors etc. plus crucially the brakes, steering, clutch, gearbox, axle, wheel bearings and suspension all get loaded and used as intended so it is almost as if the car is not in storage at all.
When the car is returned to the shop it is re-connected to a battery conditioner and covered again. We have stored cars on Active Driven for over 5 years and they have left in the same condition as they arrived in.
